Military Pilot Competency

Attention Military Pilots! Did you know that you can use your military experience to get FAA Civilian ratings (in most cases by simply taking a written test and filling out the appropriate paperwork)? Get your Commercial, Instrument, CFI, CFII and MEI. As a previous Air Force C-5 Instructor Pilot, I have been through the process and it was extremely easy. STEP 2: Do you need Commerical / Instrument?

STEP 3: Do you need CFI, CFII, MEI?

STEP 4: Goto the FSDO and get your ratings!
